This morning I got good news.  The HR dept at the City of Las Vegas called to officially offer me the part-time sewing instructor position at the Las Vegas Senior Center.

I don’t know how long it will take before I hold the first class.  I’ve learned these things take time to get finalized.  Name badges, another back ground check (that will make 4) and then meeting with the supervisor at the center to settle on the day and time.  Even though it takes time to get started to know that I am going to get started is a blessing.

I will have 4 weekly classes at recreation centers once I start there.  I’m on staff at 2 other centers but right now there are no classes at those.  Hopefully that will change soon.

I’ve said it before………………

maybe with enough part-time positions I can come close to earning a full time income.   That sure would be nice.
