Plants, seedlings and more

It’s fun watching  my little avocado seeds grow into plants.  They have really grown over the past few weeks.   I need to start thinking about putting them into soil.  I have the potting soil but I have to find a container of some kind.

My babies are doing okay. Each one is trying to peek out over the top.  A couple look healthier than the others.   I hope they all make it.  We have had 3 or 4 avocados lately and I didn’t keep the seeds. It’s so hard throwing them out but I could easily get over run with these little plants if I kept them all.

The tiny tot tomato plants are growing.  The growth is  slow but, so far, the little seedlings seem healthy.

The last of my indoor plants are my romaine lettuce seedlings that I just started a few days ago.  They have sprouted but the tiny spouts are hard to see. I drew some arrows pointing at them.

My outdoor plants are pretty much done for due to the feral cats.  They’ve killed the turnips and the potato plants.  The watermelon plants are still there but not doing well.  Makes me sad but I don’t know how to keep them off of the plants without  purchasing chicken wire and making a barrier of some sort and I don’t have the money to use for that sort of thing.  Maybe one of the watermelon plants will survive. Time will tell.

Well, I better get off this computer and move onto other things.  Have a great day everyone.  Remember to be kind……………you never know what the other person is going through.
