Saterday night

I was busy with cleaning and laundry most of the day but I did get some sewing done. One of the things I completed was this sample block.

It’s a 3d pinwheel.  Very simple and easy but when an entire quilt is made from the block it’s adorable, especially for children. Of course for little ones that may put things in their mouth I never apply buttons.  It’s also a good way to use some of your fabric scraps. I’ve made numerous quilts using this block most of them were scrappy quilts.
