Word For the Year

Every January I pick a word to be my new “Word for the Year”. The 1st word I ever picked was “trust”. Throughout that year I spent time searching scripture for a deeper understanding of what the Lord had to say about trust and how to apply that knowledge in my life. Since then, every January I pick another word to study. In the past I picked the words faith, silence, sacrifice, prayer & submission. The focused study has been and continues to be a blessing.

Keeping the word of the year on my mind: I used to order one rubber bracelet with the word for the year on it but the business where I could purchase just one with no set up fees closed down.
I liked having the reminder on my wrist but it wasn’t necessary so I simply forgot about it until earlier today. All of a sudden it crossed my mind that I occasionally make jewelry so I have all the supplies I need to make my own bracelet. I have 3 or 4 different types of alpha beads for the word and all sorts of other beads that I can use to create any number of bracelets. I should have thought of doing that all along! Now I just need to decide on the new word!!
