Addicted

Someone recently told me that I am addicted to sewing and quilting.  When they said it their facial expression, tone and word inflections made it clear that it was a harsh criticism.

Later in the day I briefly reflected on their words and then realized I needed to pay closer attention to what I was sewing before I made a mistake because I just don’t have time to pick out bad stitching since I have so many quilts to be quilted, orders to be completed, tote bags to assemble, dolls to design, blocks to be pieced, aprons to sew and…….. and ….. and….. all this to get done so I can start on the next project that’s on my long list of what I want to sew or quilt next.
