Another Thursday
Good morning everyone. I hope you had a good nights rest.
Today is Thursday and Thursdays are my BIZZY BIZZY home sewing and planning days because as of right now it is the only day I don’t have a class or obligation outside of my home. That will change in Jan. because the class at UNLV will be on Thursday mornings. (I can’t wait-I’m so excited)
Today I’ll be working on a few items for upcoming crafts fairs. I’m so *bizzy* I’m trying to do a few things at a time and stick them away so I’ll be prepared without a last minute rush. I still have an order for 10 fabric boxes I’d like to get finished so I can deliver them on Monday.
Also I have the number 21 Shoo Fly block to complete and a new technique I want to try. It’s called “Fold and Sew”. It’s looks really simple but I’ve never done it so I want to complete at least one block using that technique. I try to learn something new on a regular basis to, first, be a better teacher and then simply because I thoroughly enjoy learning.
In addition to my sewing I want and “need” to take some time to get organized because many things have changed recently regarding classes, orders and the holidays are coming very quickly. I have said in the past that I’m a list maker and that it helps me stay focused when I have everything written down. The time I take away from my sewing today to get organized on paper will help me tremendously by saving me time and greatly lessening my stress in the future. 🙂
Don’t forget about the 2 classes tomorrow at the Walnut Community Center:
12:30 to 2:00 pm Sew and Quilt Social (12 yrs and up)
3:00 to 4:30 pm Paper Art (12 years and up)
It would be great to see you there!
I’d better get moving so good bye for now.
I hope you have a wonderful, productive, creative and blessed day!
