Labor day morning 2014

Good morning everyone.  Since it’s “Labor Day” I thought I’d get up early and “labor”.  For me, the sewing and quilting I do is a labor of love.  I enjoy every step of my work, beginning to end.  From the conceptual idea to the finished project, working quietly alone or teaching a room full of people, it is all joy. 

I think most of us, at one time or another, have been asked what we would do if we  didn’t have to work or worry about money.  Me, I’d still design, sew, quilt, and teach.  The difference is, I wouldn’t have to be concerned about the cost of supplies, I wouldn’t have to charge for teaching and I would freely give away  all my completed items.  Now that would be fun!
