Lets Make a Scrappy Quilt

November 9th starts a new 6 week sewing/quilting session at the Walnut Community Center.  I will be leading a class in making a “scrappy” lap quilt. 

You will need the normal sewing supplies (straight pins, scissors, etc), a few special quilting tools, (rotary cutter, self healing mat, quilting ruler), fabric and a sewing machine. 

We meet Saturday’s noon to 1:30.  If you are interested please contact me or the center and sign up today.  When you sign up please contact me and I will email you a detailed supply list.

Just in case you’ve never seen a scrappy quilt here are photos of 2 scrappy quilts I’ve made recently.  Yours, of course, will look different because your fabric choices and design will be different.
