I was able to get the large pile of alterations “finished” today. Every alteration order completed. Yippee!
I also finished the small baby quilt I’ve been working on off and on. Since it’s still early and I’m planning on going back to work on other projects I thought I’d better get the pictures of the quilt posted like I promised. I’m really not good at taking pictures but here’s what I have…I forgot to take a picture of the back but it’s just solid white.
The butterflies are all paper pieced. All the white areas are free motion quilted with little circles. I couldn’t decide what type of binding on it so I used prairie points made from the same fabric that was left over from the butterflies. I like the prairie points and it’s cute but I wish I had another row across. Oh well!
I’d better get back to my sewing. Have a good night!
I’m back……………….I was going to sew some more but I think I’m done after all. I think I’ll read some and maybe write a little. Some down time before I try to sleep may help me sleep plus I need to rest my voice. I’ve been singing all day as I worked and my throat is a bit tired also.

Beautiful quilt. I just finished the tops of two this last week. One was with squares that my great-grandma made when my dad was a boy. The other was a patchwork. They are getting tied today. I’ll post on Facebook later

I remember using quilts my grandmother brought from Tennessee when I was very young but none of them are around now. I don’t know what happened to them. 🙁
