Starting August 30, 2014 I will be using my daily scraps to make a 6 inch Shoo Fly block until I have enough for at least a crib sized quilt, (approx. 30 blocks). After I have enough of one block for a quilt I will then change to a new block and start a new set for the next quilt.
Anytime the fabric scraps are too small or too few I will set those scraps aside to use in making a string quilt.
I’d love to have you join in with me. It will be a great way to use those fabric scraps and help get that fabric stash in control.
Here is a picture showing all the shoo fly blocks I’ve completed to date
