Starting something new

After my rambling in my earlier post about all the patterns I have and not knowing what to do I decided to just  work on a new quilt. I don’t need another quilt but I guess if I can’t sell it I can donate it. I am using the Bloom templates by Lori Holt to make a small quilt as you go type quilt. Applique is a favorite of mine. I focus on creating all the individual pieces and that’s  very relaxing for me.   

I’ve traced all the template shapes on the interfacing and have each one pinned to the  chosen fabric.

Now I get to sew them all.  That should keep me *bizzy* this evening  while keeping my mind off other things.  I think too much!
