UNLV quilting class #1
Praise the Lord, even with the asthma issue I’ve been having I was able to make it to the first UNLV quilting class (thank you to everyone that prayed). It went well and I found it a blessing to meet and start to get to know the new students. A lot of information was presented to them. A bit of history, supplies needed, how they are used, fabric choices, how to prepare it for the next class, and much more. Then they were given time to practice making the perfect 1/4 inch seam. They did great! I hope they are looking forward to the next class as much as I am.
Below I have posted a few pictures of the classroom but did not include the students as some of them do not want their picture on the internet. I always ask and it’s important that their wishes be honored. The classroom and it’s set up makes it a perfect place to meet. I think it can hold 75. WOW, I’d love to have a class with that many students. 🙂
I’m wiped out (due to the breathing issues I’m sure) so I’m going to rest a while then hopefully I’ll feel like working on some sewing/quilting projects. Have a great day everyone…….
