A little something about me…

Those that know me know I am most comfortable bare footed wearing jeans and a novelty t-shirt. Usually one that has something to do with music or sewing. While that is what I wear my taste is much wider and more complex.

I bet you didn’t know that I drool over the early Christian Dior designs in addition to those of Jacques Fath. There were others during the same period Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga and of course Coco Chanel. Coco Chanel, though widely known, is the one I like the least.

Among those mentioned, my favorites are Dior and Fath. I look at Dior’s work and am amazed at the construction. The hand work, the under skirts, the ribbing and all the technical support that went into his designs. I actually study the construction of his designs. The artistic design and talent of both designers fascinates me and feeds my creative side.
