May 1, 2014 afternoon

I know it’s been a few days since I wrote. My days are filling up and my weeks are getting more and more Bizzy so it’s harder to find time to write. [I will try very hard to do better.]

I have two new students and a third that plans on signing up when the  new session starts  at the recreation center classes.  I also have two new students that are starting this month in my Tuesday afternoon Bizzy Handz quilting class.  I’m so excited!  I look forward to getting to know them and helping  them along as they create their own beautiful items.

Tomorrow is a “work from home” day.  I have normal house hold duties plus I have lots of cutting and prep work to do for all my classes. 

I’m also working on making the “something Special” that I will be giving my students when they finish their first quilt.  It doesn’t have to be the first quilt they’ve ever made but the first quilt made after starting a class I teach.   I’m excited to be able to recognize their accomplishment and encourage them to start on their next quilt.  I will post pictures after I give out the first ones which will be this month.  I don’t want to spoil the surprise.
