Old Stuff-Made in the Past

I was cleaning up my computer desk top and ran across these pictures. Old images of a few things I created in the past so I decided to post just for the memories. More pictures of older handmade stuff I made on my instagram —

Puppets I made for use at the church I attended then. The person that was going to use them wanted puppets with zippers for the mouth.
Three little dollies I created. I made LOTS of these types of dolls during that time. I loved making them and watching their little personalities develope as I added the clothes and their hand embroidered faces. All of them sold very quickly. It’s been a long time since I made one. Maybe I’ll try to set aside some time to create another one.
A crocheted baby blanket using the spider pattern. I just this past week finished another one using the same pattern. The pattern is the same but the use of colors and the boarder is very different. Check it out here

A small wall hanging quilt I made for someone very special. Many of the stars and the shooting stars were done using glow in the dark thread.
Another little dollie. Like I said I made many of these. I love creating their faces.
A close up of the face. Seeing a few pictures of these makes me want to make more of them.

A 3d quilt. So much fun to make.
A 3d ducky quilt

A quilt I made years ago. The words were stitched in glow in the dark thread. I really liked how it turned out. It sold before I was even finished.
Just a few little items I made for sale years ago. Some sold-most didn’t. I gave some away, donated a few and haven’t made anymore. I simply can’t complete with places like Walmart that sell imported very “cheaply made” items. I use quality fabric plus the little jumpers are reversable so it was like getting 2 different outfits for the price of one. I thought they were cute but again, I can’t under price cheap items made overseas.
A quilt I made for someone that had just giving birth to a little gift from heaven. If I remember correctly she wasn’t pleased with it. She something like it wasn’t as detailed as ones I had made in the past that she had seen. ???Okay???
I was learning how to make things “glow” using the free art program GIMP. I like the effect. 🙂
