That’s the way it goes sometimes……………….

I spent  hours getting head, body, arms and legs on the doll that I am working on all sewn together and then ended up tearing it apart again.  It looked okay and there wasn’t a real problem with it so…………..WHY did I do it????

Well, I decided that, even though the pattern is cute in it’s original form, it just didn’t work for what I had in mind for the overall “custom” look. 

So with seam ripper in hand, and lots of patience……..I took all the pieces and parts back to their separate beginning status. 

This time, instead of making a cookie cutter duplicate of the doll shown on the pattern front   I can  create a one of a kind doll that  I will be much happier with and hopefully so will my client!
