Use Your Yarn Scraps

I made a sample of a crochet pattern that I’ve never tried before. The pattern is simple and works up fast. The tutorial I watched shows it being made using only 2 colors and it’s very pretty that way. Since I was just making a sample I used yarn scraps. I love the way it turned out. It is so bright, colorful and happy looking. I can’t wait to make a blanket using this pattern. I’m always excited to find ways to use some of those many scraps of yarn I have. They seem to multiply over night.

I will offer a lesson on how to do this pattern and another new one that I also made a sample of to my crochet students. The pictures don’t do them justice but I’m posting them anyway so you have some vague idea of what they look like.
