More work completed for Antonio
Today I worked at Antonio’s for a few hours and then brought home some work that I finished and will take back tomorrow.
I hemmed the arm hole and neck line on a gown and
of course, there was more lettuce ruffle hems needed. 🙂
This time it was on the gown that I sewed together yesterday.  (sorry about the blurry picture-I’m terrible at taking pictures)
Also tonight there was a lot of misc. hand sewing to do.
A bow needed to be attached on a shoulder seam,
7 inches of tightly gathered fabric need to be handstitched to the back of a gown….
and some hooks and eyes needed to be attached while others needed to be reinforced.
It doesn’t look or sound like much work but it took over 3 hours once I got home.Â
Now it’s time to do some things I need to do around here, then bible reading, prayers and finally bed.
Tomorrow morning it’s back to Antonio’s then tomorrow night I have to make sure everything is ready for the new classes (paper art, sewing & quilting) that start at the Walnut Center on Saturday.Â
For now though it’s time to get off this computer so…………..good night everyone and sweet dreams.
Â
BTW…………..I can’t wait for you to see the completed gowns. I do a little sewing – help out here and there………
but Antonio designs them and then adds his special touches to create the “stunning” & “breathtaking” look that a person sees when everything is completed.
