Wednesday morning 8-20-14

Good morning everyone. 

I finished  a couple of fabric boxes and another purse yesterday.  

I made a blouse out of the black patterned fabric years ago.  Since I was simply trying to get a usable pattern worked out and figure out all  the dimensions I didn’t want to possibly ruin new fabric. Also, I didn’t  plan on selling the finished product so this was a good way to use up the left over fabric that I saved so long ago.   I do like the look of the pleats with the black showing through and the many pockets inside.  The pattern is pretty much completed but I will make another purse and tweak the few things I want to change. 

  I tried but for some reason I couldn’t get a picture that would show the pockets very well so I gave up. I am not good with the camera    🙁

I never did get good pictures of the boxes.  For some reason they look really crooked in the picture and the colors are horrible???  I made these just for a potential customer to be able to see different sized boxes so I used scraps of fabrics for this project also.  Now with these two completed I have 4 different sizes. I have one larger and one smaller that are not  pictured here that I made a while back for personal use.   Hopefully, one of the 4 sizes will be the perfect size for her needs. Once the size is decided on I can make nicer ones with fabric and embellishments of her choice.

Well, I’d better get moving. I have a hand embroidery class this morning and I have things I want to do before I leave.
